  • Synchronised User ID doesn't work from servers.

    You might want to update the docs to reflect this.

    If this is an oversight, you might want the devs of the Server Heartbeat component to fix this. Which would be nice, so all us Remote Desktop Server admins could properly and reliably track user sessions. It'd be nice to ditch a separately maintained squid box kept for just this very thing.

    As far as I am aware, Sync User ID is not designed to operate from the Server installation of Central Endpoint. Currently the only way to get user auth from a Terminal Server is using Sophos Authentication for Thin Clients.

    However, later this year in v18, Kerberos authentication should be coming to the Web Filter which should be 407 proxy auth per connection which will support Terminal Servers far better.
