We just upgraded to 17.5.1 MR-1, after the upgrade routing between VLANs started working incorrectly. Basically any of our VLANs that did not have the XG as the gateway stopped working. We had same problem with our 17.5.0 GA update.
We have 2 XG 230's in HA mode, and the only solution was to completely shut down BOTH units and bring them back up. After that things returned to normal. We had same problem with our 17.5.0 GA update. With this said, I only highlighted this issue, but there are other problems until the shutdown restart occurs. So basically I think there is a big issue with system state during the firmware updates and in essence this means you can't do a true HA update.
