Connect TO non Sophos VPN

We're in the process of buying an XG125 and about 20 Central Intercept XClient.

We need to be able to connect to some VPNs of customers to manage some equipments that we installed on their location. (No, for those customers it's not possible for them to connect to us.)

Right now we do that with a Mikrotik router where there are 8 VPNs (some OpenVPN, some ipsec) and relative routes.

Is this possible with the XG?

Thanks,

Andrea

  • Hello Andrea,

Since you will be having Sophos XG and Sophos Central you can use the Central plateform to manage the Sophos XG and endpoint.  You could also configure SSL VPN on the client machine when you want to connect to that site for management.

    XG Firewall joins Sophos Central

    Hi Aditya,

as I stated, I need to connect to the VPN, not the opposite.

I can't make the client connect to me, but it has the Sophos that must connect to the client VPN.

Is there a way or I'd better put the purchase on hold and look for this feature on other products?
