I am running STAS in my XG for some time in my network. STAS requires configuring a Group Policy on the domain controller so the administrator/ administrator group can log on as a service on all participating STAS devices (end points). I have implemented this GPO at the top level on the domain, so all objects under it are covered. However recently i noticed my STAS administrator password had expired. So put in the new password for the admin account for STAS service. Now i am not able to see any STAS users on the XG. Only heartbeat users are visible on the XG.
i have a few sql servers running on the network. A few of the local windows services for sql need to log on locally on the sql servers . My group policy for STAS overrides the windows services and So these local SQL services are not able to log on as service. What is the best practices for creating an STAS environment where STAS account and local service account can log on locally as a service.
