Slow web browsing

Hi All,

Im using Sophos XG210.

My problem is web browsing is very slow.Whenever i use specific network subnet as a source on my firewall rule.for example

executive -> 192.168.1.0/24 network goes to wan1 (masq)

IT -> 192.168.2.0/24 network goes to wan2 (masq)

Admin -> 192.168.3.0/24 network goes to wan1 (masq)

But if i use 1 rule only for everybody the web browsing is very fast

all allow -> LAN -> WAN goes to wan 1(masq)

on both configs IPS/web policy/app control is disable.

i also tried on 2 different firmwares the 17.5.1 M1 and 17.1.4 MR-4 but they have the same problem

any thoughts on this ? please help

Please post a screen shot of the rules so we can see the details.

If i enable the ALLOW LAN config at the top everything goes fine

But if i disable the ALLOW LAN config at the top and the detailed config will work it will be a disaster for the users.

Does the # of firewall policy matters? because we have 30 vlans/network and we made 1 firewall policy for each vlan/network. So the total number of firewall is around 30+ .

Hi Lester,

Can you go to Web -> General Settings -> Advanced Settings -> disable Pharming Protection and hit apply below.

Then test with the rule disabled again.

Your rules outside of VLAN 11 and 12 have web/av enabled on them which would be affected.
