Not able to resolve DNS

Sophos User,

Have added a manual DNS entry under DNS>"DNS Host entry" which has a private ip 10.112.1.23, on my firewall DHCP lease from 10.112.0.1 - 10.112.0.254 and 10.112.1.200 - 10.112.3.254

Issue: i can not Ping hostname from IP leased from DHCP server , But able to ping from host if i set the IP from range 10.112.1.1-10.112.1.200 .

Can any one help me finding out the cause and solution?

Hello Satheesh,

Are you using the Sophos Connect Client? If yes, then you are running version 1.1.x.x on Windows. We have released a upgrade following that release. The current release available for download from XG Firewall is 1.2.5.0202. Please upgrade to this latest version and the problem will be resolved.

Ramesh,

I am not using sophos connect client.

Issue got resolved after rebooting the firewall.
