[Latest KB's] Sophos XG Firewall: APX wireless access point firmware upgraded to latest firmware image before registration.

Hi Community,

APX wireless access points with firmware revision 2.1.1-3 and above will be supported by the Sophos XG Firewall.

In order to add XG Firewall functionality to previous firmware revisions, APX series wireless access points will upgrade firmware to revision 2.1.1-3 or later as soon as APX wireless access point is connected to the Internet.

The current process for registering the APX wireless access point to Sophos Central remains unchanged as long as the end user registers the APX access point as soon as it boots.

Note: The functionality for APX wireless access point on XG is available from XG Firewall (SFOS) version 17.5 MR3.
