problem of sendind a email from local to external (WAN)

Hello everyone
thank you for helping me please
I have a problem sending an email from internal (local) to external (WAN)
for information on our networks, we have:
LAN zone: Contains an SMTP.xx.local mail server
DMZ zone: Contains an MTA.xx.ma relay server
when the email sends from the LAN to the WAN: the mail goes first by the server smtp.xx.local, secondly by the relay server then outwards.
Note
When we do a test, send a message from outside to inside, the test pass
for example from gmail to email.xx.local -> pass
but the opposite does not happen

I want to know what are the rules to check to solve this problem

what rules are you using for the sending mail out. Please post a screenshot of your rules.

Hi,

I see that you are using network rules rather than business rules.

You should try configuring business rules for your mail server incoming. The XG has a builtin MTA which might make your life easier rather than having to put your own MTA in the DMZ.

is there a possibility to make it work without this option that the sophos do as a relay

we want to keep our relay work

You should figure out, who is your relay and if XG should not act as a relay as well.

MTA simply means, there is another Mail transmitter in the mail flow, which is totally fine.

we made a sophos as transprent mode about MTA , for not work as a relay but doent work
