evaluating the XG

Question

Is it going to hurt anything if I put a XG evaluation box on my network between my layer 2 switch and my pc like this? 
 
 I want to play with it for awhile then figure out the best way to use TAP/Discovery Mode to see everything before attempting to replace the SonicWall. 
 Is having the route 0.0.0.0 -> 192.168.2.1 on the XG going to make any glitches happen my LAN network?

Hello B.R.O, 
 If the firewall is configured in Bridge mode then no. Otherwise, the gateway with two similar networks will cause the routing issue. The static route could be a workaround for this but if any communication from WAN side to your PC may cause connectivity issue.

Should work. Static route from the SonicWALL must point towards the WAN of XG.
