Hallo,
I'm not shure how to ask my questions so that you understand what I want to know :)
How much speed has the GbE/SFP from the XG 135 Rev. 3. Is this 1GBit, too? Or is this maybe faster instead the normal LAN Ports? Or is this only an integrated Converter if I need a long distance and using fiber connections for this.
I want to know how I can reach the best performance to connect two networks with 4 LAN Ports and SFP:
- 2 LAGs with each 2 LAN Ports (and GbE/SFP unused)
- Or 1 GbE/SFP and 1 LAG with 3 LAN Ports (and 1 LAN Port unused)
And an other Question: I think the Speed from one GBit LAN Port has normaly 1000 MBit which means in best case ca. 120 MB/sec, isn't it? If I configure it for LAG with two Ports, I have 2000 MBit but only 1000 MBit for each connection*. Is that right?
*Connection means: If I have 3 PCs in Network 1 that will do some thinks from a Server in Network 2, than one PC (maybe with different Applications) can only use 1000 MBit to the Server but all 3 PCs together can use the 2000 MBit. Is that correct?
