How can I find out what causes the high load average peaks?

CPU and Memory are normal.

Peaks are every 10 Minutes.

XG supports atop.

https://community.sophos.com/kb/en-us/121222

So you could write everything like mentioned in this KBA into a file with atop and read atop to get the solution.
