how to get back to the old firmware correctly, because the 17.5.0 GA has problems with the VPN and authentication

    Sure like all things.

     

    I have done it twice without an issue.

     

    Just ensure you take a FULL back up and ensure its the right size before doing it in case you need to do a manual restore.

     

    Although if it was me I would work out the VPN issue as not many reports of this for all the VPN 17.5 users so it might be just you :-)

    in which way I make a COMPLETE backup ... as far as the problem is still not very clear in the forums of sophos, therefore in function to the time, the fastest is to go to the previous firmware, since there are many users of the company.

    Do a Backup to email and double check you have a full file of over 1mb

     

    Then do a Export of your Full Configuration (Import / Export Tab)

     

    Then roll back.

     

    Just confirm you are not using HA Mode?
