VPN policy profile save changes error Sophos API Default configuration could not be update

Question

Hello, 
 I added a IPsec VPN connection between two Sophos XG Firewalls. If I want to make a change under the IPSec policy profile and saving them I got this error message (see screenshot below) 
 I want to change the "Peer unreachable" entry from "Disconnect" to "Re-initiate" and save this change.

What causes this problem ? I tried it with different XG Models and on all I get the same error message. Actually is the firmware SFOS 17.1.3 MR-3 installed. On another XG FW I tried the same with a different firemware version but getting the same error.

Seems like the standard policies are not changeable . I made a duplicate of the policiy and now I can modify and save the changes. So the case may be solved.

Hello Patrick, 
 The predefined policy is not customizable. So you would need to create a policy with the necessary parameters and apply them on the IPsec connection.
