Slow FTP

HI,

I´ve a FTP server under my XG 125 cluster.

Both using VPN or public access I get 2Mbps speeds when 300/300 optic link configured. Why? IPS signature?

Hi,

IPS is generating 95% of trouble on the XG.

What is your IPS Setup? You can customize the IPS Pattern related to the protected Server OS, FTP and malicious Traffic only.

If you using IIS as an FTP Server, you have to add the IIS Patterns also to the new generated IIS rule.

HI,

I´m using SFOS 17.1.4 MR-4 version and IPS standar WAN to LAN and LAN to WAN default rules.

First of all. Check the Logviewer regarding some alerts.

Second of all, check, if you get another Throughput after disabling IPS.

Next steps would be to check, if you get any better results with another component(WAN or Server) and another protocol.

How can I add an excepction for FTP and 10.242.x.x VPN users?
