WAN load balancing groups

Q1-Is there a solution to create multiple load balancing group for WAN interfaces rather that load balance to all available interfaces ?

Example : I have 2 lan subnet and 4 WAN interfaces, how to balance one subnet to 2 wan interfaces and the other subnet balanced to the 2 other ones ?

one subnet use "wan link load balancing" to 2 wan and the other subnet use "wan link load balancing 2" to the 2 other ones

Q2-can i let the "wan link load balancing" Session Persistent - Source IP Only and create a new one called "Round Robin" and set it as session-persistant weighted-round-robin ??

  • Hi ownsharing,

Q1-Is there a solution to create multiple load balancing group for WAN interfaces rather that load balance to all available interfaces ?

Ans: We do not have a feature to group the WAN interfaces. This is currently a feature requirement and I would encourage you to add a vote.

Ans: Yes you can, in-order to do this go to console via ssh to option 4 >set routing wan-load-balancing session-persistant source-only or set routing wan-load-balancing weighed-round-robin ip-family all .Remember you can choose either of these settings and applies to all WAN link active state.
