Sophos XG -VPN Routing Questions

Hello Matthias,

The best tunnel (imo) to use for working with dynamic routing in a site to site configuration is a site to site RED tunnel. The reason for this is that it presents on each XG as a virtual interface that can be used quite happily with dynamic routing protocols.

And because it is just "another interface" you would configure RIP across it as you would if you had a long cable between two boxes.

Hey, Thanks for that Hint.
It works now.

We have now Network Thread Protection Subscription for our Systems.

And the Sophos RED Configuration says
"This feature requires a subscription. It can be configured but cannot be enforced without a valid Network protection subscription."

The Tunnel etc. work at the moment but i dont know how long does it work without an subscription

Did you start a trial for Network Protection to run the RED? If so, it will last for 30 days then expire.
