Backup Mode: Email doesn't seem to work

Anyone been able to get emailed backups to work? attempted to configure tonight and keep getting "Backup could not be sent due to incorrect server configuration".

Confirmed my SMTP settings are correct and my test emails are being sent

I have tried to setup with gmail smtp, and its says incorrect user/pass or internal error

I had same problem with gmail. It is from gmail's elevated security measure. I got email from Google that access to sign in to my Google Account was blocked "from an app that doesn't meet modern security standards".

Try using Microsoft mail server.

smtp-mail.outlook.com

587 port

Please disable 2-Step verification in the security setting for Gmail account.
