Backup Mode: Email doesn't seem to work

Anyone been able to get emailed backups to work? attempted to configure tonight and keep getting "Backup could not be sent due to incorrect server configuration".

Confirmed my SMTP settings are correct and my test emails are being sent

  • Notification on my XG are working with no problem. I am using an external SMTP server. Anyway soon they will add MTA back so we will be able to set notification without external smtp server but XG will send email itself as it is in UTM9. Hope really soon!

  • Thank you and for the answers. However, I still don't get it. I have a -direct send- config to an email server inside my LAN and I receive notifications like "gateway ISP WAN Came Up", but no backup email. "Backup could not be sent due to incorrect server configuration". Am I missing something?
