Backup Mode: Email doesn't seem to work

Anyone been able to get emailed backups to work? attempted to configure tonight and keep getting "Backup could not be sent due to incorrect server configuration".

Confirmed my SMTP settings are correct and my test emails are being sent

  • Hurm, I was getting confused for a minute with another system. It looks like it should use the same mail configuration from what I can see in my previous XG emails (just moved to Office 365 and now notifications are broken). But maybe it's not actually committing the login procedure for your email configuration.

    @Azron, are you using credentials for your notification emails or as a Direct Send?
