EasyDns Dynamic DNS Error

Hi, I recently changed my dynamic dns provider to EasyDNS, when I configure the service on my XG firewall I keep getting the error below.

However, the IP updates fine, I have seen a few previous posts with the same issue.

I have seen a few previous which allude to this issue being fixed but it’s happening for me.

Anyone have an idea if this will be fixed please?

Both issues (one previously resolved, and one ongoing) were for customers using Sophos as the Service Provider.

RESOLVED - Advisory: Sophos DDNS is unable to resolve

DDNS updates sporadically not working for SFOS

But since you are experiencing a similar issue with EasyDNS, I would advise to please raise a support case and PM me with your case ID so that I can follow up accordingly.

Hey Andrew,

Understood. Is this error still ongoing? For troubleshooting purposes, have you attempted configuring another DDNS record with a different service provider and observing if the same issue occurs?

Hi,

Yes i had Dyndns working for over two years, shoes updates correctly on XG interface but for the price i wasn't using all the features so switched to Easydns.
