XG v17.5-MR1 release date?

Hi

Sophos support sent me a message regarding a fix that will be included as part of 17.5 MR2. The current plan is to release SF 17.5 MR2 in mid to end of January 2019.

The 17.5 MR1 has become an internal build. The next release that will be made available is 17.5 MR2.

You could use Central Wireless with APX instead of XG? 

Is there any limitation of not doing this? 

I'd imagine the issue is paying for Central to manage them as opposed to using what is already licensed in the XG...

Yes, you are absolutely correct.

APX is sold as a bundle. So basically, you can buy an APX with a very attraktive bundle price together with 1/2/3 Years Central Subscription.

So basically, most of my customers have a valid central license and use their APX in Central for couple of months. 

In fact, you only pay for the "Wireless Controller" in XG. Central offers much more, as you maybe know. 

Just my two Cents about this topic.
