Suggestion for my User Connectivity

Hi,

Good to all of you guys.

We are on the process of migrating our firewall to SOPHOS GX firewall. Actually we already deploy it but our user still connected to the old one.

I am a little bit concern which one is best internet connection/rules for our staff.

right now we have at least 7 VLAN existed in our network.

of this 7 VLAN we have our top management, STAFF, WIFI, Guest and printer.

I want to dedicated specific bandwidth to the TOP Management user and this STAFF although they have internet but it is limited to some specific site only.

within my existing layout which one of you could recommend me best to control the Internet access and bandwidth.

BTW, we have exisiting AD in our our network.

 

Pardon me since i am new to SOPHOS firewall world.

    Hi Aditya,

    Thanks for the info. Based on your recommendation the best way for me to accomplished this is to integrate my XG firewall with AD authentication.

    That way i can apply QOS.

     

    BTW our internet speed is 40MB DIAL and we are a retail company at the same time we have 16 RED50 connecting our branches.
