Syslog stopped?

All of a sudden the 2 sources I'm piping syslog data to from XG 17.5 stopped sometime yesterday morning. Can someone shed some light for a Sophos newbie on where to look and possibly restart the syslog service?  At first I thought it was my application, but neither destination (one being iView) has no log data in the past 24 hours.  So the issue seems to reside with the XG appliance.

  • I have now had this happen to me twice. At the same time 1:22AM EST, I also had users who didn't seem to authenticate, but without logs I couldn't trouble shoot. The first time a reboot corrected it, this time however I booted back to 17.1 as I can't take the chance of having issues while I am off over the holiday.
