There seems to be a bug with the amount of Network Adapters on the XG and MAC addresses with VMware.
We are running VMware 6.5.0 Build 9298722 and SFOS 7.1.3 MR-3, i am setting up a new Secondary XG VM to use in HA (worth noting that the primary is using Flexible Network Adapters) due to instability and the Flexible(Vlance) type no longer being supported we are using VMXNet3. i can safely add x4 Network Adapters on the XG and the MAC addresses for each Network Adapter on both VMware and SFOS line up. As soon as i add a 5th Network Adapter VMware stays as it is correctly but SFOS for some bizarre reason decides to randomize the Interfaces.
I have been able to get around this by matching up the correct Port Groups with the MAC Address but this is not right, i have never come across this before on anything else.
