xg firewall and wireless capabilities

hey guys, 

 

im about to buy a mini pc and install xg firewall on it.

 

i wanted to ask, if i buy a hardware that support wifi capabilities - could i activate it when installing sophos xg firewall?

    Yes and no. Whether it works or not will depend on the wifi hardware. If it does work be aware that you will more than likely only get 2.4 or 5ghz.

    I would suggest you search forums in detail looking for how to install a non Sophos wifi on the XG motherboard. it has been done. Not sure it is worth the pain though, I am not sure you can manage it from the XG though?

    Just set up a Zotac Zbox MI620 nano with XG Home. Mini-PC has a wifi antenna but unfortunately it is not recognized as possible access point.
