Firmware version issue

We currently have a XG750 running SFOS 17.1.3 MR-3.  When we check in the GUI, it says there is no newer firmware available.


We recently began setup of a second firewall to run in an active-passive HA configuration.  We went to the MySophos portal, but it only shows older or newer firmware.  Is there a way to get the matching firmware to what we are currently running?

    V17.5 is currently in a Staging process and will be roll out to the appliances.

    So would suggest to update the current master to V17.5 GA or V17.1 MR4 and build the HA.

    Tried to load any version of newer firmware on the passive firewall, but it says "Firmware cannot be loaded".  Does it need to be registered first?  We were hoping to match firmware first and then configure HA.

    You need to register anyway before joining a HA (you are talking about the licensing registration right?). 

    Which Firmware did you try?

    I was trying 17.1.4 but it seems like the registration was the problem.  It was having trouble reaching the registration server due to the DNS settings.  I tried to update the DNS servers, but it wouldn't respond until the appliance was rebooted.

    That said, everything seems to be working now.  Thanks.
