log MAC address

Hello,

I’d like to be able to log MAC addresses of client machine.

My goal is to keep traces of WEB usage for guest users without managing accounts for them.

I also can’t figure out where data from the web surfing report are stored.

    I do not think, this is possible. Are you forced by law to do this? 

    Basically (finally in Germany) i am not force anymore to track all Guest Users anymore by law.

    Till now, in France as long as you provide connections to people you are responsible to collect and provide data that could help to identify a communication in case of a justice request.

     

    I think I will use syslog to keep track of DHCP requests and store them additionally to web and app logs.

     

    I think I saw many posts regarding mac logs, so once more, why strip that info from standard reports?
