Sophos XG/ Users Application usage,

Question

Dear Guru, 
 There have one question about the Sophos XG firewall. I'd like to know, sophos xg can monitor the users, which application that they are using and how many usage ? can it be possible how to do and please share me the link as well. Thanks much.

There are two ways to archive this. 
 XG has a application control (which relies on IPS). 
 The Application Control can find round about 3300 Apps per default. But you need HTTPs inspection enabled. (more Information here: https://community.sophos.com/kb/en-us/132997 ) 
 
 And you can do Synchronized Application control.

 It uses the sophos endpoint installed on the Client and fetch the information about all applications from the client. So you can find unlimited applications.
