Alias problem

Hi all,

 

I've a problem with the version 17.1.5.

I've multiples alias on the same subnet on one interface, but the alias don't receive and upload traffic (i have got SNAT on each firewall rules for SNAT traffic). We don't have limitation on MAC Adress and the gateway is the same for all alias and IP on WAN Interface.

 

On the old version 17.0.3 MR3 I had found the solution and I have a backup that could help me however impossible to find the iso of this version. Would anyone have that?

If not, who have ideas for alias problems that do not work? I suspected a routing problem but I'm not sure because the UTM sophos currently in place work perfectly.

By moment without reason we can ping one or two alias and not other alias...

    We had a similar problem years ago. Perhaps the following command (on advanced shell) can help you:
    arping -U <wan_alias> -I <xg_wan_port>

    From the man page:
    arping -U -> Unsolicited ARP mode to update neighbours' ARP caches. No replies are expected.

     

    From Sophos KB:

    Connecting to the advanced shell

    1. To connect using SSH, you may use any SSH client to connect to port 22 of the SFOS device.
    2. Select option 5 Device Management.
    3. Select option 3 Advanced Shell.
