Active/Active AH problem

Hello Team,

I am runing two sophos 230 in active/active mode.

When both appliances are in the network, we end up with a verry slow internet connection.

In this case i disconnected the auxiliary appliance. the network is fluant when using either primary or auxiliary only.

First of all, does Active - Passive also provide problems in the network?

Did you follow all those option here?

Hello Toni,

I do not try the active/passive as the requirement is active/active.

yes I followed active/active configuration guide. Each appliance work fine alone.

I am not quite the fan of active active anyway. Most of the time, it is cheaper and more powerful to use bigger appliances in active / passive, but this is another topic.

So you need to dig very deep in your network to find the issue for this. Maybe there is a switch, which causes this issue because the XGs shares the same mac in case of a takeover.

You need to perform some kind of dumps on both appliances of the network traffic to find out, what is going on. Would suggest to get in touch with the support to get help in these steps.
