Upstream-Web-Proxy

Hello,

on a UTM you can define and configure one or more upstream web proxy server under "Web Protection" / "Webfilter Profile". Where can i configure this on an XG Firewall ?

    If the upstream proxies support standard/explicit/direct mode then in your client browsers you can configure that some destinations should go through one proxy, and other destinations through another proxy, and other things no proxy (which then would possibly go through the XG's transparent proxy).

    You can create a wpad.dat/proxy.pac file that you then use to store that configuration.  Any browser that is using "automatically detect settings" will use the that configuration.
