AP55, Bridge to VLAN and Bridge to LAN on same AP

Hi folks,

I am trying to setup a VLAN connection for my IoT devices using the existing AP.

I have created a WIFI VLAN and the WIFI SSID, but I cannot assign an AP.

Do I need to install a second AP so that I can provide isolation for my IoT devices? Currently they have their own SSID and firewall rule, but share the LAN connection.

XG / UTM cannot work with Bridge to VLAN and Bridge to LAN on same AP.

It is a limitation of the architecture.

Central Wireless can.

Most of those UTM customers uses a "workaround" with VLAN ID 1. But this is not possible on XG.

And as far as i know, this is some kind of limitation of the AP itself. He builds a bridge and if you join a VLAN, you have to use VLAN for "everything".

Thank you, that was the conclusion I came to, but needed some official opinion so I stop wasting my time experimenting further.
