How to check if my hardware is impeding with browsing speed, or download speed?

Hi.  I used an old white Sophos UTM 110/120 box as my XG Home firewall.  It has been working fine, with no hickups.  But it does take a long time to refresh a page, or load a report.  Say 5s.  I am wondering if this is in any way slowing down serving up web pages?  I have 50 Mbps Fiber download, and about 40 Mbps upload.  I use usenet.  When I download files using SABNZBD, I can see I'm downloading at 5.6 MBps speeds.  Which is about right.  Does downloading from usenet represent downloading a lot of small files?  I understand it's taxing to the hardware if I download a lot of small files at the same time.  And yet, downloading usenet at 5.6 MBps seems to be alright.  Though in surfing, it takes a second or so to serve up some pages.  I have changed my DNS from 8.8.8.8 to 1.1.1.1 (cloudflare).  it helped a bit.  How do I analyze further?
