15_01_0376 installation (SF-OS ver 1) so far

Hi,

I have installed my home edition of SF-OS.

1/. synchronisation fails - no reason

2/. admin email from cli does not accept @

3/. unable to edit admin email address if you make a typing mistake.

4/. without synchronisation I can't past the introduction page.

Ian M

5/. after you change the password in the cli for the administrator you cannot login to the web gui.

  • It is now a brick. After a restart none of the passwords work. I had a working beta Copernicus v1 b3), now I have a non working GA. It eventually synchronised, so what happens now if I re-install, re-register which might fail as already registered? Synchronise??
This product goes from sad to worse

  • Re-installed SF-OS, registered without an issue, but won't synch need to talk to support. Being a home user you don't have accces to support, so it doesn't work. You can't get past the second part of the initialising screen until you have synchronised.

  • Another installation and this time success. Now waiting on SF-OS to recognise the AP. AP has a DHCP address, but has not joined the asset list yet.

  • Yeah, theres another thread on this issue, but I have a case open right now with Support and they are at a loss. I have 3 AP's, none of which show up to approve. I'll let everyone know if theres a fix.
  • Hi DMR188,
I have another thread also on this subject of the AP not being recognised - log shows unknown type.
But, being a home user I have to rely on this forum for support.

  • Good news, a new AP firmware downloaded this afternoon and now the SF-OS can see the AP10.

  • Rebuilt to use home licence and yet again synchronisation fails. Yes, the SF-OS can see the internet because I surf the web from port 1 with port connected to my UTM providing local internet.
