Skype for Business calls issue

Hi,

I am on Sophos XG210 office network, And we connect another team over Skype for business.

The problem is whenever we have a skype call  (audio/video) we get a lot of voice drop or even gets disconnected.

Do I have to make any special settings on the firewall for this issue?

  • Hi,

I'm also having audio drops with the XG210 connecting to skype for business online. In truth the audio drops are noticed by the other end, I don't really get audio drops in my audio in.

I've even ran the skype for business network assessment tool and got nice results way below the max suggested latency and packet loss reference values.

Another interesting thing is that this audio issue seems to only occur, or at least is much more noticeable, when doing video as well, disabling the video removes or mitigates most of the audio drops issue.

It would be interesting if someone would find a solution for this, my business relies heavily on skype and if this is a consistent unresolvable issue I will need to consider getting back my the Sonicwall NSA 3600 from the closet...
