SSL Site-Site Connection between XG-115 and pfsense Firewall

I have a XG-115 firewall installed in one location and another location runs a pfsense firewall. Here is the network below:

1. XG115 = 10.1.0.0/24 (Static Public IP Address available)

2. pfsense = 10.3.0.0/24 (Static Public IP Address available)

Now I wanted to connect these 2 networks so that I could access 1 from another site and vice-versa. Now since both the locations have static public IP address I guess I have 2 options to connect the networks (if not more).

1. IP_SEC Tunnel

2. VPN Site-Site connection.

Now I have XG-115 support as well but  I guess the support team has not been able to resolve the issue and connect the 2 sites. Hence I am posting it on the forums. Now I wanted to know the IP_SEC is not getting connected whereas the support team is saying the problem is in pfsense and the pfsense support team says the problem is in SOPHOS firewall basically getting me stuck.

Now I tried to make a SSL VPN (Site-Site) and the site-site connection at both the firewalls showed up as connected but I want unable to ping an ip address either from sophos or from pfsense and then the support team says that the sophos xg firewall only supports the SSL VPN site-site between sophos firewalls.

I would like to know and help from community if anyone can help me creating a connections between the 2 networks safely and securely since the priority support team has just given me answers which are not resolving the issue even after remote sessions since the past one month and still the support ticket is open.

I would request is there is any way I can connect the 2 networks.
