Hi guys.
SO i have bee looking for some answer on the forums, while the problem is very common i see no working answer or understandable for me, this is a home office and while i am the most techy guy here networking is difficult.
the situation is:
i managed a VPN ipsec connection from an small location (site to site) to the main office using IPSEC VPN, the remote connection is having right now a single voip phone (yealink t46g, same as others in the main office), all phones connect to a freepbx server inside the office (we use a fxo to go from voip to landline), all phones in the office work perfectly. but the one over vpn has 2 problems:
- while i make calls, i can hear the recipent (both inside office extensions and outside calls) but they can not hear me.
- when i hang up, the call does not end on the server.
this phone works perfect when connected within the office, configuration does not change when in vpn.
Our network configuration goes like this
192.168.0.0 main office network
192.168.10.0 VPN network
VPN ipsec setup as stated in sophos online help.
Fw Rules:
VPN,LAN to VPN,ALL , all users allow all
(i know i lack rules, this is a test server so w decide if we can fully move to sophos)
