DNS Settings for DMZ

Hi,

We are using an XG210 (192.168.24.24) and there are a some zones setup, LAN, WAN and DMZ. The IP range for LAN is 192.168.20.x and for the DMZ is 192.168.24.x. The DC's are 192.168.20.11 and 192.168.20.12. The DMZ gateway is set as 192.168.24.1.

In the Configure -> Network -> DNS the IP addresses are those of DC1 and DC2. For the main LAN this works fine.

In the DMZ we have a VOIP solution and this is starting to cause a bit of grief. The PBX is using the gateway is 192.168.24.1 on the NIC and this is fine for the PBX to get out to the internet, but when the VOIP phones are provisioning to the PBX, they are getting the DNS settings for the phones as 192.168.20.11 and 192.168.20.12, therefore the phones are not able to get out onto the internet.

Is there somewhere where we can specify alternative DNS IP's for the DMZ?

Hope this makes sense.

Kindest Regards

Dave Chunilal
