How to setup XG Firewall as a VM in bridge mode?

Deploying the XG firewall in bridge mode on a VM. Setting up in bridge mode because customer already has an ASA and we are looking to only using the XG for web protection.

Was able to get through the initial registration. Was able to access through an internal IP Address of 200.50.15.117. After setting it to bridge mode and enabling all of the network protection checkboxes in the initial setup, noticed a different IP Address in the configuration summary: 200.50.15.219. Went through the reboot and after the some time, I could not ping the new IP, nor could I get back to the old IP. And for some odd reason, many of our workers were disconnected from our wireless network. Once I shut down the VM that the XG was running on, workers were able to get back online.

Looking to just rebuild the VM and reconfigure everything. Looking to see what are the requirements to successfully get this going so I don't run into the same issue. Running VMware version 6.5.
