Email spam scanning trouble on our domain

So the email scanning is working for outbound and inbound traffic for the most part. If someone Spoofs our address or emails internally it does not appear to be scanned or appear in the logs. We are using Exchange 2016 and are on 17.1.2 for the XG version. I have looked around and cant seem to find any where I may of added a white list or avoid scanning, any one have ideas?
