How to set correctly a name for the device (sophos xg) instead of an IP for Captive Portal

I suspect you have to register it in the DNS as well so the name is advertised.

Which DNS Server do you use? 

Hi, thanks for answere. Im not using a DNS server, i just use a main router.

Modem -> Router (TP-LINK TL-ER5120) - Sophos XG Firewall (with DHCP relay)

Please share the screenshot of your Netwot Interface of XG, ipconfig /all from your PC on which you are trying

You can change the DNS IP to 192.168.110.3 on your DHCP server ( TP-link 192.168.110.1).

If you still face an issue, share the output of ipconfig /all from your PC.

Your XG is a DNS server.  However when you set the hostname is does not automatically create a DNS entry for the hostname to an IP.  One reason is that the XG has multiple interfaces so it does not know which of its several IPs you want to use.

Assuming that your clients are getting DNS from your XG:  Go to Network, DNS, DNS Host Entry.  Create a new entry with the FQDN and IP you want to use.
