How to find current bandwidth hog?

I ran into an issue at a client site. All was slow and WAN interface was maxxed out. I opened up "Live Connections" and the traffic added up does not even come close to the WAN interface.

I spoke with Sophos tech support and he says that is the correct way to find the devices. Is there a better way?

Please test this scenario:

Run a speed test to max out the connection, go to live connections and see if the computer's IP shows up at top when sorted by transfer speeds.

But it will give you an overview of the IP that is doing the most traffic.

Next you create a firewall rule to allow the traffic just to that IP with logging on, to see what's going on.

Next you drop all traffic to that IP, and see if that solves your problem or not.

Thanks for the reply and great suggestion. I will definitely try that method next bandwidth spikes.
