Creating a new Business Application Rule hangs the screen

I need assistance with creating Business Application Rules for Exchange General and Exchange Autodiscover.  I can create User/Network Rules without freezing the screen but when I choose the option for Business Application Rule, it gives the list to choose from and then starts to open the new rule but a cursor is displayed in a continuous circle indicating that it's loading something to the screen. None of the options on the screen are available and I can't click on any other menu option to change the screen even after letting it sit for a half hour or more.  The only way to unfreeze the display is to refresh the browser which takes me back to the main Control Center screen.  Creating a Business Application Rule used to work prior to me making some modifications to my broadband modem to allow the Sophos XG Firewall to be seen as a default server to pass traffic to.  I am able to remotely manage the Sophos XG Firewall across the Internet since making the modification.  Is there something I'm missing that would cause the Business Application Rule creation to freeze up?
