An issue I posted about previous is still affecting us, where RED tunnels need to be dropped for a bit to clear their connection against a previous PPPoE session inside the ISP infrastructure.
The symptoms are that after the PPPoE connection drops and re-establishes in a short time, RED tunnels don't work until you disable them for a few minutes then re-enable. IPSEC connections are the same.
Is it possible to randomize the source port of the RED UDP data connection so that the ISP sees it as a new connection?
Thanks
James
