Sophos XG hardware appliance user interface extremely slow

I have a new XG firewall which has been upgraded out of the box to v17.1.2. Every time I click on any link e.g. authentication, routing, web, firewall, any link at all, it is taking between 5 minutes and 20 minutes to load. Even logging in from the splash login screen takes this long. Is this a known issue? It has no config except for an ip address on port 1 - LAN.

Hi,

This is not normal and should be investigated.

Sounds like a issue with the appliance or a network issue. Maybe get in touch with the Sophos Support.

Factory reset via CLI restored it to normal.
