Sophos stas wmi verification the rpc server is unavailable on some PCs, and some users are being logged out and blocked

Hi all

We've been having issues with users being logged out of the firewall and then blocked whilst browsing.

We have STAS installed as per the guide on both our PDC and BDC and no client firewall is present at the moment.

Some of the machines pass the "WMI verification" test in STAS, however the machines that are having issues fail this.

Any ideas where i need to look next? It seems to be a machine issue with WMI and not stas/XG. 

Any pointers are greatly appreciated

Our DC are 2016 and clients Win7

    Basically the DC with Collector will perform a WMI Request to the client to check, whether it is logged in or disconnected.

    If you do not allow WMI from DC to client, this perform will fail and the collector thinks, the client is offline and log out those clients.

    Would recommend to use the GPO.
