Configuring WAN interface for hosting virtual appliance with IP Failover and MAC usurpation

Hello,

We work with hosted dedicated server (in France Online.net), which has a particular procedure to configure IP Failover on Windows and Linux.

On WAN interface, we have to force MAC address given by the Hoster then we have to put the IP public failover address with a mask of 255.255.255.255 and the gateway is on another subnet causing problem on XG configuration verification.

Moreover on certain Linux, we have to add route in ethernet config file whe the interface is up and deleting the route when the interface is down.

I need to test a Sophos XG virtual appliance on HyperV hosted on this provider Online.net but I'm not able to configure the WAN interface on XG which prevent /32 mask and gateway on other network.

Does anyone have a solution or had the same problem ?

Thanks in advance. Regards.
