XG-210 Initial Setup

I recently purchase a used XG-210 and want to set it up for our office using a comcast modem and a network with server essentials 2016. Is there a manual I can download and reference that would give me the information necessary to setup the XG-210? Thank you.

    Hey Mark,

     

    The XG is quite an in depth solution and can be complex if you start using all its ability.

    I would suggest you begin with: https://www.sophos.com/en-us/support/products/xg-firewall/how-to-library.aspx

     

    There are numerous sections and depending on what you will be using it for you may want Authentication from AD so you can identify users and apply specific policies to some and not others etc.

     

    As always the forums are a great place to ask questions and share screens etc for advice.

    Hi Mark 

     I am struggling to configure a static route on my XG 210 UTM device  

    it is configured as follows :

    WAN Port static:            192.168.199.101

    Default Gateway:          192.168.199.100

    Subnet mask:                  255.255.255.0

     

    LAN Port: 10.1.1.1 (static)

    DHCP (Range 10.1.1.0) distributed by the LAN port

    any ideas how i may do it
