Problem with WAN DHCP reconnect

Hello Community

I've a problem with my Home XG Firewall (v17.1.1). My provider is Vodafone Kabel (a Cable provider in Germany). I have a cable modem in front of my XG. The modem is in bridge mode, so the public IP should available on the WAN Interface. Normally this works.

Yesterday I had an power outage in the whole house. The modem and the firewall both had rebooted. I think the firewall was to fast and became via DHCP from the modem a private IP. Here is the question: I found no solution to renew the IP Address of the WAN Interface. I set the Interface in static mode and then back to DHCP mode to get the public IP. Is there a smarter way?

The 2nd problem is the DDNS Service from Sophos. After I get the new public IP there was no update in the DDNS service until I do this in the advance shell:

service WINGc:restart -ds nosync.

Is this a known bug?

Regards,

Ben
