Is there a way to disable the gateway up/down mails on single WAN devices?

We have some customers with XG firewalls where the internet provider disconnects the internet connection every 24 hours. The XG tries to report that (but the mail can't go out at that moment) and also reports, then the connection is up again. After the "UP-mail" we receive the "DOWN"-mail what caused some confusion when it first happened, until we took a look at the time, the mail was sent.

Is there any way to disable only these mails?

  • Hi,

I think the only way of doing this is to disable the fail test in the network -> wan link management tab. Or change the fail test to a local device that is always "UP" otherwise your GUI control centre will show a red network warning.
